Následující příklad kódu ukazuje, jak zpracovat tuto událost pro vymazání vlastnosti řádku DataGridViewRow.ErrorText v případě, že byla dříve nastavena obslužnou rutinou CellValidating události. Obslužná rutina CellValidating události může vymazat text chyby, když nová hodnota buňky splňuje ověřovací kritéria, ale když se uživatel vrátí k původní hodnotě buňky stisknutím klávesy ESC, CellValidating událost nenastane.
