Poznámky

Pokud dokument obsahuje více prvků s odpovídajícím ID, vrátí tato metoda první odpovídající prvek v dokumentu.

Poznámka

Implementace MODELU DOM musí mít informace, které definují atributy typu ID. I když lze atributy ID typu definovat v schématech XSD nebo DTD, tato verze produktu podporuje pouze ty, které jsou definované v DTD. Atributy s názvem "ID" nejsou ID typu, pokud nejsou definovány v DTD. Implementace, kde je neznámý, zda atributy jsou typu ID jsou očekávané vrátit null.
