Note
The XmlValidatingReader class is obsolete in .NET Framework 2.0. You can create a validating XmlReader instance by using the XmlReaderSettings class and the Create method. For more information, see the Remarks section of the XmlReader reference page.
This property allows the user to access properties specific to the supplied reader. It returns a typed XmlReader
. The user should query for the type before casting.
Changing the state of the returned reader (for example, calling one of the read methods) can lead to unpredictable results.
