ICorDebugValue2::GetExactType Method

Gets an interface pointer to an ICorDebugType Interface that represents the Type of this value.

    [out] ICorDebugType   **ppType
);

Parameters

Parameter	Description
ppType	[out] A pointer to the address of an ICorDebugType Interface object that represents the Type of the value represented by this ICorDebugValue2 Interface object.

Remarks

The generics-aware GetExactType method supersedes both the ICorDebugObjectValue::GetClass Method and the ICorDebugValue::GetType Method methods, each of which return information about the type of a value.
