Administrator's Guide (Release 5.0)

Includes information for administrators who set up and provide access to Business Portal, manage its daily use, create back office queries, and generate reports. This document also describes the Business Data Catalog and includes reference information about users and roles.

Use the document that is appropriate for your implementation:

  • Release 5.0 – Business Portal is on a web server that is running either Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services or Microsoft Office SharePoint Server.

  • Release 5.1 – Business Portal is on a web server that is running either Windows SharePoint Foundation or Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010.

Benefit Self Service User's Guide

Describes how both employees and human resources administrators can use Benefit Self Service to view and administer benefit information by using Business Portal.

Common KPIs Guide

Explains how to create common key performance indicators (KPIs), such as the current ratio and gross profit margin.

Field Service Suite

Explains how to set up and use Field Service Suite, which you can use to view, modify, and create service calls and return merchandise authorizations by using Business Portal.

Human Resources Management Self Service Suite Administrator's Guide

Explains how the Canadian version of Human Resources Management Self Service Suite differs from the U.S. version. This includes system requirements.

Human Resources Management Self Service Suite User's Guide

Describes how employees and managers can use the applications in the Human Resources Management Self Service Suite to update personal information, enter timecards, view paychecks, submit vacation requests, and complete other self-service tasks.
