How to: Define Dependencies

If the collection that you selected for the supplementary table on the lines of the Outlook Synch. Entity window depends on other entities, you should define specific collection dependencies.

To define collection dependencies

  1. In the Search box, enter Outlook Synch. Entity, and then choose the related link.

  2. Select the entity for which you want to define dependencies, and on the Home tab, in the Manage group, and choose Edit.

  3. On the Lines FastTab lines, select an Outlook collection for which you want to define dependencies.

  4. Choose the No. of Dependencies field.

  5. In the Outlook Synch. Dependencies window, choose the Depend. Synch. Entity Code field, to select the entity that the current collection depends on.

    Note

Table relations must be specified for the supplementary table for which you want to define dependencies.

  6. Select an entity from the list. The Description field in the Outlook Synch. Dependencies window is automatically filled with the description.

    Note

For each dependency synchronization entity, you must define table relations.

  7. After selecting the entities, close the Outlook Synch. Dependencies window. The number of the selected dependencies is displayed in the No. of Dependencies field for the current collection.
