How to: Record Item Usage on Jobs
Usage or consumption for a particular job can be posted in a job journal. Each entry on a job journal line must be related to a job. Use this procedure when the item is available and ready.
To record job usage
In the Search box, enter Job Journals, and then choose the related link.
Fill in the Posting Date, Document No. and Job No. fields for the journal line.
In the Job Task No. field, choose the job task number that the usage relates to.
Fill in the Type and No. of the journal line. Select Item as the Type option.
On the Home tab, in the Process group, choose Post to post the job journal.
