Item Category Code Field, Service Line Table

Contains the code of the item category that the item on the line belongs to. The program fills in this field if the type of the service line is Item.

The program copies the item category code from the Item Category Code field in the Item Card window when you fill in the No. field on the service line.

Item categories are set up in the Item Category window, and include default values for posting groups, costing methods, and tax groups. Item categories are used when new items are created.
