Bin Code Field, Warehouse Shipment Header Table
Indicates the code of the bin in which the program will request you to place the items that are about to be shipped. If the location is set up with bin mandatory, then the program fills in this field with the bin code in the Shipment Bin Code field on the location card.
Additional Information
When you retrieve source document lines in to the shipment, the program copies the bin code entered in this field to the Bin Code fields on the lines of the shipment.
If you are using directed put-away and pick and wish to ship items with warehouse class codes other than the warehouse class code of the bin entered in this field, you must delete the contents of this field before you retrieve lines for the items being shipped and then enter bin codes with appropriate class codes on each shipment line.
