BarCode Custom Information Field, General Ledger Setup Table
Specifies optional customer information that you can add to the barcode.
In Australia, a barcode can be printed on top of every address to speed up the delivery of the mails. The barcode is generated from a DPID (unique address identifier, downloaded from the Post Office database) and from a customer information defined by the sender. Including customer information in the barcode is optional, and it can help the sender to automatically sort the answers received after a mailing.
