XmlSerializationWriter.WriteNullableQualifiedNameLiteral Method
Microsoft Silverlight will reach end of support after October 2021. Learn more.
This API supports the .NET Framework infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.
Writes an XML element whose body contains a valid XML qualified name. XmlWriter inserts an xsi:nil='true' attribute if the string's value is nulla null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).
Namespace: System.Xml.Serialization
Assembly: System.Xml.Serialization (in System.Xml.Serialization.dll)
Syntax
'Declaration
Protected Sub WriteNullableQualifiedNameLiteral ( _
name As String, _
ns As String, _
value As XmlQualifiedName _
)
protected void WriteNullableQualifiedNameLiteral(
string name,
string ns,
XmlQualifiedName value
)
Parameters
- name
Type: System.String
The local name of the XML element to write.
- ns
Type: System.String
The namespace of the XML element to write.
- value
Type: System.Xml.XmlQualifiedName
The XML qualified name to write in the body of the XML element.
Remarks
The protected members of XmlSerializationWriter are intended for use only by derived classes that are used internally within the .NET Framework XML serialization infrastructure.
When set to true, the nil attribute from the XML Schema instance namespace (abbreviated xsi) indicates a null value.
The WriteNullableQualifiedNameLiteral method is called only when writing literal XML that can be defined in an XML Schema document.
