Zálohování a obnovení databází a transakčních protokolů

V SMO Backup , třída a Restore třída jsou utility třídy, které poskytují nástroje pro provádění konkrétních úloh zálohování a obnovení. Objekt Backup představuje konkrétní úlohu zálohování, která se vyžaduje místo objektu Microsoft SQL Serveru v instanci serveru.

Pokud dojde ke ztrátě nebo poškození dat, musí být záloha obnovena buď plně, nebo částečně. Částečné obnovení používá FileGroupCollection kolekci k segmentaci dat, která se mají obnovit. Pokud je záloha transakčního protokolu, lze data obnovit až do určitého bodu v čase pomocí ToPointInTime vlastnosti objektu Restore . Data lze také ověřit pomocí SqlVerify metody. Doporučeným postupem zálohování je pravidelně kontrolovat integritu zálohy provedením operace obnovení a kontrolou dat v databázi.

Podobně jako objekt Backup nemusí být objekt Restore vytvořen pomocí metody Create , protože nepředstavuje žádný objekt v instanci SQL Serveru. Objekt Restore je sada vlastností a metod používaných k obnovení databáze.
