V SMO je možné pomocí objektu Statistic shromažďovat statistické informace o zpracování dotazů v databázi.

Pomocí objektu StatisticStatisticColumn a objektu je možné vytvořit statistiky pro libovolný sloupec. Metodu Update lze spustit, aby se aktualizovaly statistiky v objektu Statistic . Výsledky můžete zobrazit v optimalizátoru dotazů.
