Offline method of the MSFT_Partition class

Takes the partition offline.

Syntax

  [out] String ExtendedStatus
);

ExtendedStatus [out]

A string that contains an embedded MSFT_StorageExtendedStatus object.

This parameter allows the storage provider to return extended (implementation-specific) error information.

There are not enough resources to complete the operation. (40002)

This operation is only supported on data partitions. (42011)

The partition remains offline until explicitly brought back online, or until an access path is added to the partition.
