IOleCache2 interface (oleidl.h)

Enables object clients to selectively update each cache that was created with IOleCache::Cache.

The IOleCache2 interface has these methods.

IOleCache2::DiscardCache Discards the caches found in memory.
IOleCache2::UpdateCache Updates the specified caches. This method is used when the application needs precise control over caching.
