Poskytovatelé dat výkonu V2 jsou podporováni v systému Windows Vista nebo novější. Používají . Soubor MAN (manifest instrumentace XML) definující zprostředkovatele, sady čítačů a čítače.
Poznámka
Manifesty instrumentace můžou obsahovat informace o poskytovatelích trasování událostí pro Windows (ETW) i o čítačích výkonu. Podrobnosti o manifestech instrumentace naleznete v tématu EventManifest Schema a Zápis manifestu instrumentace).
Tato část popisuje následující prvky a typy, které používáte v části counters manifestu instrumentace:
- prvky čítačů výkonu
- čítače výkonu – jednoduché typy
- čítače výkonu komplexní typy
Nepoužívejte oddíly localization ani stringTable manifestu instrumentace pro datové řetězce výkonu. Místo toho zadejte řetězce jako hodnoty atributu, který nastavujete.
Po vytvoření manifestu pomocí nástroje CTRPP ověřte manifest a vygenerujte soubory kódu (.h) a prostředku (.rc), které se mají použít při sestavování poskytovatele.
Při instalaci aplikace spusťte nástroj LodCtr.exe s parametrem /M: a nainstalujte čítače výkonu. Nástroj LodCtr.exe zaznamená potřebné informace do registru pod HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Perflib\_V2Providers\{ProviderGuid}, včetně úplné cesty k binárnímu souboru obsahujícímu prostředky řetězce pro vašeho poskytovatele (jak je uvedeno v atributu applicationIdentity manifestu). Ke spuštění LodCtr.exemusíte mít oprávnění správce. Příklad příkazu instalace:

Pokud potřebujete aktualizovat sadu čítačů, nezapomeňte starou sadu čítačů odinstalovat pomocí nástroje UnlodCtr.exe s parametry /G: nebo /P:. Po odinstalaci staré sady čítačů můžete aktualizovanou sadu čítačů nainstalovat.
Schéma
