View health reports in SharePoint Server

Health reports are pre-built reports in SharePoint Server that use usage data to analyze various aspects of sites and site collections such as slowest pages and top active users.

Note

You cannot use Microsoft PowerShell to view health report data.

With SharePoint Server running as websites in Internet Information Services (IIS), administrators and users depend on the accessibility features that browsers provide. SharePoint Server supports the accessibility features of supported browsers. View health reports by using Central Administration

You can view health reports only by using Central Administration.

To view health reports by using Central Administration

  1. Verify that the user account that is performing this operation is a member of the Farm Administrators SharePoint group.

  2. In Central Administration, on the home page, click Monitoring.

  3. On the Monitoring page, in the Reporting section, click View health reports.

  4. On the report page, in the Quick Launch, click the name of the report that you want to view.

  5. To view report data, select the data criteria, and then click Go.

  6. To sort rows, click the column name.
