i downloaded logitech software for my "racing wheel". The software is from 2010 and so is its drivers.

I can find the drivers in the system32 folder but when i go and delete them it says "this action cant be combleted because the file is open in another program"

I have looked everywhere for that "program" that it is running on

I have looked in the settings, taskmanager, logitech folders, and many other places

The driver names are "WmBEnum.sys, WmXICore.sys and WmVirHid.sys"

I have also tried using pnputils in the commandprompt but it cant find the drivers (maybe because they are .sys files and not "drivers"?)

i need them deleted so i can turn on memory integrety so i can open faceit anti cheat

If a person from microsoft software team wanted to contact me on the phone or other form of easier faster comunication that would be appreciated i have struggled with this for a long time

Open File Explorer and go to:

    c:\windows\system32\drivers.

Try to rename "WmBEnum.sys" to "WmBEnum.sys.old"

If you get an error, we must rename it using Windows RE.

I hope the the Driver Store Explorer (free) tool will be able to remove those driver packages.

Now, please download Driver Store Explorer from GitHub:

    https://github.com/lostindark/DriverStoreExplorer

Run the tool and uninstall those incompatible drivers.

Let's try another approach. The Farbar scanner can be used to delete the drivers. First, run the Farbar Scanner and share the scan logs on OneDrive.

    1. Download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool 64-bit (FRST64.exe)

    https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/farba...

Note: If Microsoft Edge or Chrome mislabels the Farbar Scanner executable as PUA/malware, choose to keep it by tapping … in the bottom bar, choosing Keep, and then choosing Keep anyway in the dialog that appears. See this screenshot: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/deployedge/me...

    1. If the OS language is non-English, rename FRST64.exe to FRST64English.exe.
    2. Run the program. Don't check or uncheck any options. Click "Scan".
    3. Zip the two logs, FRST.txt and Addition.txt, upload them to your OneDrive and share the link here.

    Hi Nicolaj, This is Ramesh.

Please create a System Restore Point and do the following:

    1. Download Autoruns from Microsoft.

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/...

    1. Run Autoruns.
    2. From the File menu, click "Run as administrator".
    3. After the entries are populated, click "Options" and enable "Hide Microsoft Entries".
    4. Switch to the "Drivers" tab.
    5. Find the drivers, WmBEnum.sys, WmXICore.sys, and WmVirHid.sys.
    6. Delete those driver entries.
    7. Restart Windows.

See if you can enable Memory Integrity.
