Autoreservation (form)

Click Sales and marketing > Common > Sales orders > All sales orders. On the Sales order tab, click Sales order to configure a new order. Create a sales line. If the quantity that you enter in the Quantity field exceeds the current on-hand inventory, the form opens.
Use this form to manage reservations on the current item. You are notified by the program if you try to reserve more than is available for reservation.
Note
To enable automatic reservation, select Automatic in the Reservation field. This field is on the General tab on the Accounts receivable parameters form. If automatic reservation is not active, this notification is not shown.
When you receive a notification, you can do the following:
Click OK to continue.
Click Update quantity to change the quantity.
Click On-hand to see an overview of the item's total on-hand profile.

The site in which the item is stored. |

The quantity of the item that is available for reservation. |
Attempt to reserve |
The quantity that you tried to reserve for the sales order line. |
Show |
Indicate whether the item is to be shown in the unit of measure that is defined for inventory, purchasing, sales, or for another purpose. |
Unit |
The unit of measure that is applied for the item. |
