Description |

Load item attributes |
Add all batch attributes associated with an item to the inventory batch instead of selectively adding each one. This is useful when specific attributes or attribute groups have been defined for the item. If the item's attribute relation is All, all available attributes will be added. Note You can click this button when the source of the batch attribute value is a quality order, which indicates that a quality association exists for the item. Then a prompt is displayed for you to confirm whether you want to continue. If you select Yes, the Quality order field is cleared for you to load item attributes. If you select No, the Load item attributes update is rejected and the Attribute value field reverts to its previous value. |
Fields
Field |
Description |
---|---|
Batch number |
The identification for the inventory batch. |
Item number |
The identification for the item. |
Product name |
The name of the product. |
Attribute |
Select an attribute to add to the inventory batch. You cannot use the same attribute more than once in a given inventory batch. For example, if an item uses the attribute Grade, its inventory batch can be associated with only one grade. To add all of the attributes associated with an item to the inventory batch, use the Load item attributes button. |
Minimum |
The minimum value in the attribute range for attribute types Integer and Fraction. |
Maximum |
The maximum value in the attribute range for attribute types Integer and Fraction. |
Target |
The optimal value for the attribute. |
Attribute value |
Enter or view the value for the attribute. Note If Update inventory batch attribute is selected in the Inventory and warehouse management parameters form, this field is updated automatically based on the attribute value from a quality order, if a quality order is the source of the update. |
Quality order |
The identifier for the quality order used to update the Attribute value field. If the attribute value is updated manually, this field is blank. Note A quality order can be generated on an as-needed basis from a purchase order, production order, or batch order. If the quality order is generated after receipt of the inventory, the inventory batches will be updated with the attribute value from the quality order. |
