Item allocation keys (form)

Click Inventory management > Setup > Forecast > Item allocation keys.

Use this form to create an item allocation key or view existing item allocation keys.

You can use an item allocation key to assign a percentage of an aggregate forecast to individual items or item dimensions. An aggregate forecast is made at the group level. This could be a forecast for an item group or an inventory dimension group, for example.

Note

You must create an item allocation key for an aggregate forecast, because the master scheduling calculations require specific item numbers.

Buttons

Button	Description
Lines	Open the Item allocation lines form to create or edit lines for the selected key.
Wizard	Open the Item Allocation Keys Wizard to create an item allocation key.
Supply schedule	Open the Supply schedule form to see an overview of the current demand and supply situation for the selected product family. In the form, you can do the following: View product supply information that is filtered according to location, master plan, and time period. Monitor and analyze the supply situation. Make changes to the planned supply.

Fields

Field	Description
Item allocation key	The unique identifier for the item allocation key.
Name	The name of the allocation key.
