Pallet transports (form)

This topic applies to features in the Inventory management module. It does not apply to features in the Warehouse management module.
Click Inventory management > Common > Pallet transports.
Use this form to process pallet transports that move items between locations.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Lock transport |
Lock transports for a specific operator so that only this operator can start the transport. |
Select another pallet |
Select another pallet with the same content during refilling and output transport. |
Start transport |
Start transports. You can select any pallet, even if the pallet is not the one selected on the Overview tab. |
Change destination location |
Specify a new destination for the pallet transport. |
Complete transport |
Complete the selected transport. If you defined check text for the location in the Inventory locations form, you are asked to enter it here. |
Update lines |
Update the information on the Overview tab. |

Split |
Move items from the current transaction line to a separate transaction line. |
Inventory |
Open the Dimensions display menu, where you can select inventory dimensions to display in this form. |
Read tag |
Read tag information to the device that is selected in the Device name field on the RFID tab. |
Write tag |
Write tag information to the device that is selected in the Device name field on the RFID tab. |

Worker |
Enter the personnel number for the forklift operator who is transporting the pallets. |
Forklift ID |
Enter the identity of the forklift that is transporting the pallet. Only pallet transports that can be performed by the forklift are shown. |
Warehouse |
Specify the warehouse where the pallet transports will be performed. Only pallet transports from this warehouse are shown. |
Started |
Indicates whether the transport has started. |
Pallet ID |
The pallet that is affected by the transport. |
From warehouse |
The warehouse where the pallet will be taken from. |
Pickup location |
The location where the pallet will be taken from. |
To warehouse |
The warehouse where the pallet will be delivered. |
Destination location |
The location where the pallet will be delivered. This can differ from the value in the To warehouse field. For example, a pallet might be received on one side and picked on the other side. |
Item number |
The item number for the item that is included in the transaction. |
Quantity |
The sum of the quantities from the accompanying lines. This is calculated automatically. You can use this function to quickly verify that the pallet is intact before you start the transport. |
Tag status |
Indicates whether an RFID tag has been associated with the line. |
To pallet required |
Specify that if you move less than a full pallet and no pallet dimension is defined, a new pallet must be specified in the To location field. Tip When you start a transport that requires a new pallet, you can enter the relevant pallet information in the Start transport form. |

The identification of the transport. |
Type |
The type of transport. |
Handling status |
The status of the pallet transport. |
From height |
The height of the location where the transport starts. |
To location |
The location where the pallet is found after the transport is finished. This can differ from the input location. |
To height |
The height of the location where the transport ends. |
Priority |
The priority for the transport. Use this function to present to drivers the highest-priority transports, first. |
Shipment |
The shipment that an output transport is associated with. |
Quantity |
The quantity that this transaction affects. |
Weight |
The total weight of the pallet transport. |
Volume |
The total volume of the pallet transport. |
Configuration |
Select an item configuration to specify an item with specific attributes. |
Server ID |
Select the RFID server. |
Device name |
Select the device to use when you click the Read tag button. |
Item number |
The item number for the item that is included in the transaction. |
Quantity |
The quantity that is included in the transaction. |
Configuration |
The item configuration that specifies item attributes. |
Size |
The size of the items. |
Color |
The color of the items. |
Site |
The site where the items are stored. |
Batch number |
The batch number dimension of the items. |
Serial number |
The serial number dimension of the items. |
Item tagging |
If this check box is selected, item tagging is mandatory for the items on the transaction line. |
Tag status |
Indicates whether an RFID tag has been associated with the line. |
Route |
The route that the transaction belongs to. |
Lot ID |
The lot number of the transaction on the inventory order. |
Warehouse |
The warehouse where the items are stored. |
Location |
The location inside the warehouse. |
Pallet ID |
The unique ID for the pallet. This is the Serial Shipping Container Code (SSCC). |
