Retail shared parameters (form)

Click Retail > Setup > Parameters > Retail shared parameters.
Use this form to specify retail parameters that are shared by all stores.

Local store number |
Select the store number that is used when day-end journals or statement journals are created. |

Earn offline |
Select this check box to track all loyalty earning transactions offline. To post the loyalty transactions, run the Process offline loyalty transactions job. (Click Retail > Periodic > Loyalty > Process offline loyalty transactions.) Important Before you run the Process offline loyalty transactions job, run the P-0001 job to pull the retail store transactions into Microsoft Dynamics AX. |
Allow register association from device |
Select this check box to allow a device, such as a tablet or smartphone, to be associated with a store’s register from the device. This control is available only if Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 is installed. |

Enter the cryptographic algorithm to encrypt logon credentials for Payment Services. AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) is the default cryptographic algorithm. For information about how to change the default algorithm, see Use FIPS-compliant encryption algorithms for Microsoft Dynamics AX Retail. EFT stands for electronic funds transfer. |

Enter the consumer secret from your Twitter account. This is used to publish discounts to Twitter. |
Maximum number of rows for editing attributes in Excel |
Enter the maximum number of rows in Excel that you can use to edit product attributes when you create catalogs for online stores. |
