Sales unit designer (form)
Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012
Click Sales and marketing > Setup > Sales management > Sales unit/team. Select a sales unit, and then click Sales unit designer.
Use this form to design tree structures for sales units. Add workers to a sales unit by dragging their names from the worker table to the Sales unit area.
You can modify the sales unit later. For example, you can define members of the sales unit as managers or remove members from the tree.

View an overview of the existing sales units and workers. You can also change information for the workers, define unit managers, and delete workers from the sales unit. |
View a more detailed overview of the active sales unit. |

Current version date |
The date of the most recent modification. |
Edit employee |
Open the Worker form, where you can change information for the selected worker. |
Set sales unit manager |
Set the current worker as the manager of the current sales unit. |
Delete employee line |
Remove the worker from the sales unit. This does not delete the worker from the Worker form. |
Print sales unit and members |
Print the structure of the current sales unit. |

The identification code of the worker. |
Worker name |
The name of the worker. |
Title |
The official title of the worker. |
Sales unit |
The identification code of the sales unit. |
Description |
A brief description of the sales unit. |
Salesperson |
Select the salesperson who is responsible for the sales unit. |
Name |
The name of the sales unit or the identification code of the worker. |
Relation |
Select the salesperson's relationship to the sales unit. The available values are Primary and Secondary. |
Employee name |
The ID and name of the worker. |
