How to: Change a Server's Registration (SQL Server Management Studio)

Registered Servers retains the connection information specified when the server was registered. You can change the connection information for a server at any time.

To change a server's registration

1. In Registered Servers, right-click a server, and then click Properties.

2. In the Edit Server Registration Properties dialog box, modify the server, login information, or connection properties, and then click Save.
