.NET Framework enthält zwei geschützte Konfigurationsanbieter, die zum Verschlüsseln von Abschnitten einer Konfigurationsdatei verwendet werden können. Die RsaProtectedConfigurationProvider -Klasse verwendet zum Verschlüsseln von RSACryptoServiceProvider Konfigurationsabschnitten. Die DpapiProtectedConfigurationProvider -Klasse verwendet die Windows Data Protection-API (DPAPI), um Konfigurationsabschnitte zu verschlüsseln.
