Im folgenden Beispiel werden die Werte der -Enumeration in einem Array gespeichert, und die aktuellen Werte der Eigenschaften ConsoleColor und werden in Variablen BackgroundColor ForegroundColor gespeichert. Hinweise

Ein Get-Vorgang für eine Windows-basierte Anwendung, in der keine Konsole vorhanden ist, gibt Gray zurück. Unix-Systeme bieten keinen allgemeinen Mechanismus zum Abrufen der aktuellen Konsolenfarben.
