Im folgenden Beispiel wird die Verwendung der SetOut-Methode veranschaulicht. Hierdurch werden vier aufeinander folgende Leerzeichen in einer Zeichenfolge durch ein Tabstoppzeichen ersetzt. Um sie auszuführen, müssen Sie zwei Befehlszeilenargumente bereitstellen. Das erste ist der Name einer vorhandenen Textdatei, in die der Standardeingabestream umgeleitet wird. Das zweite ist der Name einer Datei, in die der Standardausgabestream umgeleitet wird. Diese Datei muss nicht vorhanden sein. Wenn das der Fall ist, wird der Inhalt überschrieben.
