Die ConsoleCancelEventArgs.SpecialKey -Eigenschaft gibt den Enumerationstyp ConsoleSpecialKey zurück.

Das gleichzeitige Drücken bestimmter Tastenkombinationen signalisiert dem Betriebssystem, den aktuell ausgeführten Prozess zu unterbrechen. Die beiden gültigen Tastenkombinationen sind ConsoleModifiers.Control plus BREAK (STRG+BREAK) und ConsoleModifiers.Control plus ConsoleKey.C (STRG+C).
