Microsoft Syntex pay-as-you-go terms of service
Microsoft Syntex uses pay-as-you-go billing through an Azure subscription for some content AI services. See the current list of Microsoft Syntex pay-as-you-go features and the pricing for each for details.
When you enter your Azure subscription in the Microsoft 365 admin center, you will be billed on a pay-as-you-go basis for all Microsoft Syntex pay-as-you-go services. Users in your organization will have access to some features by default. You can disconnect your subscription at any time to stop processing and billing.
In the future, new features that use pay-as-you-go billing will be announced via a message center post. When the features become available, users in your organization will be able to take advantage of those capabilities. You can manage or turn off Microsoft Syntex pay-as-you-go features in the Microsoft 365 admin center.
Prerequisites for Microsoft Syntex pay-as-you-go are:
- An Azure subscription
- An Azure resource group
These are required to set up pay-as-you-go billing.
Processing events will be sent to the Syntex meter in your Azure subscription so that you'll be able to view activity for each of the Microsoft Syntex pay-as-you-go services that you use. Billing for services will be done through the Azure subscription that you choose.
If you currently have Microsoft Syntex seat licenses, licensed users will be able to continue to use unstructured and prebuilt document processing per the terms of that offer.
Microsoft Syntex pay-as-you-go is not available for Office 365 government plans or Office 365 operated by 21Vianet to and for PRC-located users.
