Minecraft Education multiplayer game

Completed

Hosting multiplayer games in a shared Minecraft world is an excellent way to encourage creativity, communication and problem solving among students while building community. Students work together in real time and on different devices while collaborating in the same space. Students can be in the same space or different locations. Minecraft Education multiplayer game mode provides a great opportunity for students to work collaboratively with other players who aren't in their MSA group and other MSAs from across the globe!

Considerations for hosting a multiplayer world:

  • The maximum number of players that can connect to a Minecraft Education multiplayer game at one time is 30.
  • All players will need to be running the same version of Minecraft Education to be able to host and join worlds together.

Have no idea where to start? No worries! The Minecraft Education Team created a multiplayer game guide to help.
