RepeaterItemEventHandler Delegate

Definition

Represents the method that will handle the ItemCreated and ItemDataBound events of a Repeater.

public delegate void RepeaterItemEventHandler(System::Object ^ sender, RepeaterItemEventArgs ^ e);
public delegate void RepeaterItemEventHandler(object sender, RepeaterItemEventArgs e);
type RepeaterItemEventHandler = delegate of obj * RepeaterItemEventArgs -> unit
Public Delegate Sub RepeaterItemEventHandler(sender As Object, e As RepeaterItemEventArgs)

Parameters

sender
Object

The source of the event.

e
RepeaterItemEventArgs

A RepeaterItemEventArgs that contains the event data.

Examples

The following example demonstrates how to specify and code a handler for the ItemCreated event of the Repeater. A new line of text indicating the item type is displayed whenever a Repeater item is created.

Remarks

When you create a RepeaterItemEventHandler delegate, you identify the method that will handle the event. To associate the event with your event handler, add an instance of the delegate to the event. The event handler is called whenever the event occurs, unless you remove the delegate. For more information about event handler delegates, see Handling and Raising Events.

For more information about how to handle events, see Handling and Raising Events.

Extension Methods
