i am unable to perform scan/patch a linux virtual machine using Azure Update management center (Preview). Every time i run a scan it shows me an error Update operation on 'Microsoft.Compute/virtualMachines', machine: 'networktest02'. Error details: {"error":{"code":"BadRequest","message":"The selected VM image is not supported for VM Guest patch operations. Learn more at: https://aka.ms/VMGuestPatchingCompatibility"}}

can someone please guide me what could be a possible reason or how can i overcome this. PFB screenshot of properties of my linux VM on azure.

    Hi,
    Azure Update Center (Preview) only supports only certain Azure VM images. If your Azure VM is probably not deployed via one of those images. It has to be only those images and custom images with the same OS are not supported. If you are using Arc for servers there is also supported OS listed. Also make sure your VM is in running state.
