Hello,

I keep getting the error - "Error

Another account from your organization is already signed in on this device. Try again with a different account." I've been trying to use all of the tips, tricks, and fixes available online, but nothing is working. Please help.

    same issue, following. When I open excel, I'm not signed in but get the same error

    Same issue. Tried all of the, even invasive, workarounds and Office (Word, Excel) is not working. This is a problem.

    I spent almost 8 hours trying to resolve this issue. In the end we figured it must be a corrupt Windows profile. But before starting the tedious process of building a new one I ran SFC /scannow and that resolved the issue. Prior to that Office was uninstalled and everything tied to Office was removed and the Office was reinstalled after the scan found a corrected some corrupt files that it had located. Hope this helps.     Running the SFC /scannow command fixed this issue for me. We figured it repaired what we had concluded was a corrupted Windows profile after following all of the steps to log out of MS accounts, repairing and reinstalling the app and running the license cleanup tools. Hope this helps.

    I've had this problem twice on a MacBook Air 2022. The first time I was able to solve it by removing Keychain entries with "Office" in them.

    This most recent time I was unable to fix the issue this way. I finally revoked and regave the E3 license associated with the account. When the user logged back in they were able to use everything as normal. It's a weird bug that seemed to affect only this user.
