MS OneNote notebook sections no longer sync

I have a MS OneNote 2013 notebook that I was using without a problem. Recently only 2 sections of the 8 sections of the notebook open.
The 6 sections of the notebook that don't openhave this message on them:

"Waiting to sync this section.
Another OneNote program created it but has not yet uploaded the content."
It just doesn't sync or update any longer.

Each file of the 6 sections that don't update are on OneDrive and I can view the contents but they no longer load in the notebook.

What can I do to restore these files in the notebook, where they were just recently, or put them in another notebook?

    Hi,

I suggest you try to sync section manually:

    1. On OneNote, click on File, and select Info.
    2. Click the View Sync Status button (or right-click the notebook and select Notebook Sync Status).

    3. Under "Shared Notebook Synchronization," click the Sync now button for the section with the problem.
