We have all emails forwarding to an @au1.azure.antigena.com email address and failing.

This is presumably remnants from a DarkTrace Antigena trial that was configured.

Does anyone know how to stop these from forwarding?

    Hi @ Marcus K,

Great to know that you've already thought of a solution and really appreciate it for your sharing!

By the way, since the Microsoft Q&A community has a policy that "The question author cannot accept their own answer. They can only accept answers by others.". and according to the scenario introduced here: Answering your own questions on Microsoft Q&A, I would make a brief summary of this thread:

[Emails forwarding to @au1.azure.antigena.com email address]

    Issue Symptom:

All emails forwarding to @au1.azure.antigena.com email address and failing.

Connector has been removed from EOL.

How to stop these from forwarding?

    The Solution:

The reason is a journal rule is configured to forward backups.

Follow these steps to turn off journal rule:

    1.    In the Microsoft Purview compliance portal, navigate to Solutions > Data lifecycle management > Exchange (legacy) > Journal rules.

    2.    In the list view, next to the rule's name, select the check box and then select Disable to disable the rule.
