For example I don't like to see resharper any time when I open the extension manager.

I would like to have a possibility to remove it from my suggestion list.

Thanks.

    Hello, @yurly prokofievOfficial Site

To remove specific extensions like ReSharper from your suggestion list in the extension manager, follow these steps:

Open Visual Studio: Launch your Visual Studio IDE.

Access Extensions: Go to the "Extensions" menu and select "Manage Extensions."

Find the Extension: Locate ReSharper or the extension you want to remove from suggestions.

    Disable or Uninstall:

Disable: Click on the extension and select "Disable." This will prevent it from appearing in the suggestion list.

Uninstall: Click on the extension and select "Uninstall" if you want to completely remove it from your system.

Unfortunately, if you only want to remove it from suggestions without disabling or uninstalling, Visual Studio doesn't natively support hiding specific extensions from the suggestion list. You can provide feedback to Microsoft via the Visual Studio Feedback tool to request this feature.

I hope this will be short out for you

    Best regards

    Hello @Yuriy Prokofiev ,

I’m afraid, it’s currently not possible.

In Visual Studio, there’s no option to change this default setting.

I recommend you kindly submit a suggestion ticket on our Developer Community - Visual Studio for better help.

Feel free to let us know if you have any further concerns:)

    Best Regards,

    Tianyu
