Forms is not collecting data

I use a simple form to collect attendance data in my courses. There is one question, and the answers are all jokes. I started collecting data on 8/19 after the drop/add period ended. I have three courses. Two of them work fine. The third did not collect any data this week. None. That class data collection ends on 8/22. I know for a fact that I made them available and I watched my students use them. But they might as well have cast their answers into a black hole for all the good it did.

Attendance is a significant part of their grade. It is part of Professionalism (10% of their grade) and I also check attendance for each group during the period they were working on an activity. They do not get the same grade as their group if they did not pull their weight (40% of their grade).

So what is going on? I need this to actually work, not pretend to work. This is mission critical data. And why the hell is forms not one of the choices on the list of products? I don't really know where to put this question. I'm putting this in Sharepoint for lack of anywhere better to put it.

    Dear Paul,

It may be a background data sync issue or some Microsoft Forms UI display issue in Microsoft Forms in your education tenant. There may involve some actions to check whether the users' data is received from the Forms side on your tenant.

If you are just a user, I suggest you contact the school administrator who is the tenant administrator and let him call https://forms.office.com/formapi/api/forms('formid')/responses in the browser to see whether the responses data can be displayed. If yes, the responses should be received from the Forms side. It may be a data display issue in a specific form at your side. I suggest you go to Microsoft Forms>find the form (I guess you use the form in Teams. If yes, it may be a group form.)>click on ...>click on Sync all responses to a new workbook to see whether the data can be showed and synced in the newly created workbook.

How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin? - Microsoft Support

If no, you may create a new form and use Power Automate to populate the got responses' data to a new workbook and then use another flow to sync the later responses to see whether the data can be synced. If yes, the issue should be fixed at your side.

If the responses cannot be got from the API call, it should be a background data sync issue which needs to be fixed by the related team directly. I suggest you contact the administrator in your school and let him follow the steps in Get support - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Learn to open a support ticket to our related team as soon as possible.

About admin roles in the Microsoft 365 admin center - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Learn

The administrator should be able to open the support ticket from Help & support in the Microsoft 365 admin center.

Then he can select the Phone support or the Email support as follows.

Your effort and time are greatly appreciated!
