Using New Outlook on Windows for professional communication and productivity
Welcome to Q&A Community!
Thank you for reaching out. I’ve tested sending EML files with the X-Unsent:1 header in the new Outlook, and it appears to function normally on my end. Therefore, to investigate further, I’d like to gather some additional details from you:
- Are you having a Personal (@hotmail.com, @live.com, @gmail.com) or Work/School account (@yourcompany.contoso)?
- Could you confirm that the email was sent to the correct recipient? If not, you should receive a Non-Delivery Report (NDR).
- Have you checked if the email appears in your Sent Items folder?
- Are there any rules configured that might affect sent items? If possible, please share a screenshot of your rules for review.
To check mail flow rules, kindly go to Outlook > Settings > Mail > Rules.
- Can you try sending the same email using Classic Outlook and let me know if the issue persists?
In the meantime, kindly ask your admin to run a message trace to verify where the email is and confirm whether it was sent successfully.
For detailed instructions, please read this article Message trace in the new EAC in Exchange Online | Microsoft Learn
Once I have the above information, I'll be able to narrow down the cause and assist you further. Thank you for your cooperation, and please let me know if you have any questions.
