It seems you are experiencing a couple of issues related to Windows updates and permissions for installing applications like Google Chrome.

    1. Windows Update Stopping: If your Windows update has stopped, it could be due to various reasons such as network issues or system conflicts. You might want to check your internet connection and ensure that your device has enough storage space for the update. If the problem persists, you can try restarting your computer and checking for updates again.
    2. Permission Request: The message asking for permission is likely related to the Family Safety settings if you have them enabled. In this case, you would need to ask the account holder (usually a parent or guardian) to approve the installation of applications like Google Chrome. If you are the primary user and have administrative rights, you may need to adjust the Family Safety settings or check the account permissions.
    3. Installing Google Chrome: If you are unable to install Google Chrome, it could be related to the Family Safety settings as well. If the Activity reporting feature is turned off, browsers may shut down unexpectedly when trying to open them. To resolve this, you can enable Activity reporting in the Family Safety settings, which may allow you to receive the necessary approval prompts for installing and using browsers.

If you continue to face issues, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for further assistance.
