A specific functionality or enhancement provided by Windows Copilot
Hi Jerry A Driscoll,
I understand how inconvenient this can be, especially if you were trying to use Copilot specifically to create images.
To help narrow this down, could you please share a few more details?
- Are you using Copilot from the Windows Copilot app, Microsoft Edge/browser, or the Microsoft 365 Copilot app?
- Are you signed in with a personal Microsoft account or a work/school account?
- What happens when you ask Copilot to create an image? Do you see an error message, does the image option disappear, or does it just not respond?
- Does the same issue happen if you try a new chat or use Copilot from another browser/device?
In the meantime, you can try these steps:
- Start a new Copilot chat and test with a very simple prompt, such as: “Create an image of a blue car on a sunny street.”
- Sign out of Copilot, close the app/browser completely, then sign back in.
- Try using Copilot from a browser instead of the Windows app or test from another device if possible.
- Make sure Microsoft Edge, the Copilot app, and Windows are fully updated, then restart your device.
- If only certain prompts fail, try rewording the prompt in a simpler way and avoid requests that may involve restricted or sensitive content.
Please note that Microsoft Q&A is a user-to-user support forum, so I cannot directly check backend service status or enable the feature for your account from here.
While my initial response may not fully resolve the issue, I truly appreciate your cooperation as we work together toward identifying the most effective solution. Thank you so much for your understanding.
