What is now the recommended packaging/installer technology for Windows Server OS's?

Question

MSIX is now favored over MSI for installation on Client OS's such as Windows. But what about server-side? MSIX's "install per user" paradigm doesn't make sense for a server. Will/Is Microsoft working on a modern installation technology for deploying executables, Windows services and the like on a Windows Server OS? Or is it the intent to leave server deployment only to web deploy, containers and such other means, but nothing for products that do not fix in these categories?
