PolicyValidationException(SerializationInfo, StreamingContext)
Initializes an instance of the PolicyValidationException class with serialization information and streaming context specified.
protected:
PolicyValidationException(System::Runtime::Serialization::SerializationInfo ^ info, System::Runtime::Serialization::StreamingContext context);
protected PolicyValidationException (System.Runtime.Serialization.SerializationInfo info, System.Runtime.Serialization.StreamingContext context);
new System.IdentityModel.Selectors.PolicyValidationException : System.Runtime.Serialization.SerializationInfo * System.Runtime.Serialization.StreamingContext -> System.IdentityModel.Selectors.PolicyValidationException
Protected Sub New (info As SerializationInfo, context As StreamingContext)
Parameters
- info
- SerializationInfo
The SerializationInfo object that holds the serialized object data about the exception that is being thrown.
- context

Applies to
PolicyValidationException(String, Exception)
Initializes an instance of the PolicyValidationException class with the specified error message and a reference to the inner exception that is the cause of this exception.
public:
PolicyValidationException(System::String ^ message, Exception ^ innerException);
public PolicyValidationException (string message, Exception innerException);
new System.IdentityModel.Selectors.PolicyValidationException : string * Exception -> System.IdentityModel.Selectors.PolicyValidationException
Public Sub New (message As String, innerException As Exception)
Parameters
- message
- String
The message that describes the error.
- innerException
- Exception
The exception that is the cause of the current exception.
Remarks
An exception that is thrown as a direct result of a previous exception should include a reference to the previous exception in the InnerException property. The InnerException property returns the same value that is passed into the constructor, or null
if the InnerException property does not supply the inner exception value to the constructor.
