Public Shared Function Cosh (value As Complex) As Complex
Parameters
- value
- Complex
A complex number.
Returns
The hyperbolic cosine of value
.
Remarks
The Cosh method for complex numbers corresponds to the Math.Cosh method for real numbers.
The Cosh method uses the following formula to calculate the hyperbolic cosine of the complex number a + bi:
(Cosh(a) * Cos(b), Sinh(a) * Sin(b))
