Releases the resources used by the PrintSystemObject.
Overloads
Dispose() |
Releases all resources used by the PrintSystemObject. |
Dispose(Boolean) |
Releases the unmanaged resources used by the PrintSystemObject and optionally releases the managed resources. |
Dispose()
Releases all resources used by the PrintSystemObject.
public:
override void Dispose();

virtual void Dispose();
public override sealed void Dispose ();

Remarks
Call Dispose() when you are finished using the PrintSystemObject. The Dispose() method leaves the PrintSystemObject in an unusable state. After calling Dispose(), you must release all references to the PrintSystemObject so the garbage collector can reclaim the memory that the PrintSystemObject was occupying. For more information, see Cleaning Up Unmanaged Resources and Implementing a Dispose Method.
Note
Always call Dispose() before you release your last reference to the PrintSystemObject. Otherwise, the resources it is using will not be freed until the garbage collector calls the PrintSystemObject object's Finalize method.
Applies to
Dispose(Boolean)
Releases the unmanaged resources used by the PrintSystemObject and optionally releases the managed resources.

virtual void Dispose(bool unnamedParam1);
protected:
virtual void Dispose(bool A_0);
protected virtual void Dispose (bool unnamedParam1);

protected virtual void Dispose (bool A_0);
protected virtual void Dispose (bool A_0);
abstract member Dispose : bool -> unit
override this.Dispose : bool -> unit
[<System.Runtime.ExceptionServices.HandleProcessCorruptedStateExceptions>]
abstract member Dispose : bool -> unit
override this.Dispose : bool -> unit
Protected Overridable Sub Dispose (unnamedParam1 As Boolean)
Protected Overridable Sub Dispose (A_0 As Boolean)
Parameters
- unnamedParam1A_0
- Boolean
true
to release both managed and unmanaged resources; false
to release only unmanaged resources.
- Attributes
Remarks
This method is called by the public Dispose()
method and the Finalize() method, if it has been overridden. Dispose()
invokes the protected Dispose(Boolean)
method with the unnamed Boolean parameter set to true
. Finalize
invokes Dispose
with the parameter set to false
.
When the Boolean parameter is true
, this method releases all resources held by any managed objects that this PrintSystemObject references. This method invokes the Dispose()
method of each referenced object.
Notes to Inheritors
Dispose
can be called multiple times by other objects. When overriding Dispose(Boolean)
, be careful not to reference objects that have been previously disposed of in an earlier call to Dispose
. For more information about how to implement Dispose(Boolean)
, see Implementing a Dispose Method.
For more information about Dispose
and Finalize(), see Cleaning Up Unmanaged Resources and Overriding the Finalize Method.
