Create a new service item
Business Central provides several ways to sell services to customers:
Resources - Persons or machines that are used to provide services to customers. Examples of resources are technicians, consultants, and so on. Resources are often used in combination with jobs.
Service items - Companies that sell services like repairs and maintenance to their customers can set up service items for customers' items that they provide these services on.
Items of type Service - Items of the type Service are used for labor time units, such as a consultancy hour, for limited business support.
