Assign currencies to customers, vendors, and bank accounts

The next step in setting up multicurrency is to select the default currency for customers, vendors, and bank accounts.

To set up the default currency for customers, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Search for Page icon in the top-right corner of the page, enter customers, and then select the related link.

  2. Select the desired customer and then open the Customer Card page.

  3. On the Invoicing FastTab, in the Currency Code field, enter the correct currency for the customer or leave it blank to indicate local currency (LCY).

To set up the default currency for vendors, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Search for Page icon in the top-right corner of the page, enter vendors, and then select the related link.

  2. Select the desired vendor and then open the Vendor Card page.

  3. On the Invoicing FastTab, in the Currency Code field, enter the correct currency for the vendor or leave it blank to indicate LCY.

To set up the default currency for bank accounts, follow these steps:

  1. Select the search for page icon in the top-right corner of the page, enter bank accounts, and then select the related link.

  2. Select the desired bank account and then open the Bank Account Card page.

  3. On the Posting FastTab, in the Currency Code field, enter the correct currency for the bank account or leave it blank to indicate LCY.
