Hello! I need help in creating virtual machine in Azure portal ?

According to info provided we have to go to portal then moving toward compute tab we have to click on virtual machines to create now further more i can't help myself to find out where to enter detail like password, subscription id etc... to create the environment.

How do I create a virtual machine using the Azure Portal?

To create a virtual machine in the Azure Portal, you can follow the Windows VM quickstart:

This guide will have you search for "Virtual machines" under services, then create a virtual machine be completing the wizard in the portal which is where you'll be asked for the VM username/password and your subscription (see screenshot below). Search for "Virtual Machine" in the Portal:

Then create the virtual machine by completing the wizard:

The answer provided by Microsoft team is good to go but I am adding screenshot of page where I did found problem . the thing is I can't find page for entering VM details it shows I have no subscription but I am using this in learn sandbox environment. I have seen the tutorial too. I think its something wrong with subscription page.

How do I access my Learn subscription in the Azure Portal?

Some sandbox exercises in the training portion of Azure learn may provide you with temporary access to a subscription to try exercises in the portal. There are a couple key points to check:

Often, you need to activate the sandbox before going to the portal and you'll need to complete the exercise before the sandbox expires (1 hour) and access to the temporary subscription disappears.

Some exercises provide a temporary subscription, but others may require you to bring your own subscription (such as the Azure free account).

Here are instructions in more detail:

You'll need to first activate the sandbox (this will give you a Learn directory you can use) and confirm that the default directory is set correctly:

If you sign in to the portal and are in your own subscription (or you sign in to your subscription and end up in the sandbox), one of two things might be wrong. Either you haven't activated the sandbox or your Azure settings put you in a default directory. You can change the directory by selecting the Directory and Subscription filter button on the toolbar along the top.

The button opens a drop-down list where you can select the correct directory. You can also change the Set your default directory setting to the directory that you work in most often.

When you activate the new sandbox, the old sandbox environment is destroyed, along with any resources created in it.

If you are still running into issues, use the Azure Fundamentals tag and we would be happy to walk you through what you need to do for any given Unit or sandbox. I hope this helps get you back on track!
