SPMT (sharepoint migration tool) - install works fine but unable to load the app

Question

Hi,

can anyone help with that error after install and run the SPMT app???

Where there is some logs to debug what would cause that issue?? I didn't found on Windows EventViewer...

I already tried:

• uninstall/install again and also install the BETA version from https://spmt.sharepointonline.com/betainstall/default.htm but no success;
• repair the 'Microsoft c++ 2015' and reboot didn't fix;
• create another user on AD with 'Admin' privileges and then another user profile didn't fix;
• repair .net via command line as that vídeo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X5k7zUFgOvk - didn't fix;

1. Ensure that your system architecture is x64 and that your .NET version is 4.6.2 or higher. You can check which versions of .NET are installed on your computer by following the instructions in this article.
2. Stop any third-party anti-virus software on your computer prior to installation.
3. If you’re still experiencing issues, try downloading and installing the public preview version of SPMT. It contains the latest updates and fixes. You can download it from here.

Hi @Xyza Xue_MSFT ,

that Windows is x64 and that app was working 02 days ago.

I already tried to install the public version but the issue is the same.

• I can't believe that there is no way to debug that error in order to clarify why it isn't working.
