I get an error when trying to configure nGinx in https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/training/modules/describe-azure-compute-networking-services/3-exercise-create-azure-virtual-machine . The error message says "Unable to locate package nginx-core"

Activate a new sandbox and create a new VM as mentioned in the Exercise (step1 at Create a Linux VM and install Nginx). 2. After step 1, please make a note of Public IP address that was assigned to VM. Before moving into step2, connect to the newly created VM using ssh command in cloud shell. Please run the following command to connect VM: ssh azureuser@<VM public ip address> 4. The system gives you to prompt Yes/No. Enter Yes . 5. Please run the following commands one after another in cloud shell. · sudo apt-get update · sudo apt-get install -y nginx · echo "<html><body><h2>Welcome to Azure! My name is $(hostname).</h2></body></html>" | sudo tee -a /var/www/html/index.html. Exit After completing the step 5, continue your module from step2 of Task 1: Create a Linux virtual machine and install Nginx at module 3 of 14. Hello,

When I enter: ssh azureuser@<VM public ip address>, I type in yes for the question:
Are you sure you want to continue connecting (yes/no/[fingerprint])?

I then get the following error:

azureuser@@<VM public ip address>: Permission denied (publickey).

Any advice?

Hi,

thanks for your message. I was able to resolve this by re-logging back into the sandbox. To log back in I typed:

az login

this command prompted me to click on another Microsoft link and enter a specific code that I believe was automatically generated for that specific sandbox session.

After successfully logging in (authenticating) I was able to run those commands from the exercise.
